FAQ

What camera do you use?

I use the Canon 30D (aka a super old model) but I change up the lenses frequently depending on location and lighting. All the lenses I use are Canon as well. 

How do you edit your Instagram pictures?

I like to use VSCO Cam, which is an app available for both Android and Apple devices. I tend to up the exposure, lower the contrast, up the saturation and tint, and then use the filter T1/Moody to around a seven or so on their little scale.

Who takes your pictures?

Whoever is willing! Sometimes a family member will step up or other times a good friend or two will volunteer. For some Instagram pictures, I just take them myself with my phone.

Your blog doesn't look like a typical Blogger blog. How did you modify it?

Basically, I Googled til the ends of the earth finding the little details I wanted to redesign my blog. The biggest thing I found that really helped was PicMonkey. It's a free website that I used to create my header, sign off, favicon, and any other picture that has text on it.

Do you make money off your blog?

A very, very, very small amount. I use ShopStyle, which allows me to make a tiny percentage off the clicks I get to certain links. The images of the clothes & shoes I'm wearing in my posts are linked to ShopStyle, so when you click on it I make a small sum. If you would like to support me in that way, feel free to click or purchase items through those links. If not, then don't!

Why did you start your blog?

I wanted a way to express my love for fashion and to create my own little corner of the internet. It has been a total blast learn the ins and outs of blogging and Instagram-ing.
